Mouse Ferrochelatase Binding of Nickel and Free Base Porphyrins

Two calculated structures of NiProtoP bound to B. subtilis crystal structure

• Corresponding residues of the mutants of the murine ferrochelatase residues are indicated.

• The structures show significant macrocycle ruffling, in agreement with the resonance Raman results for the murine wild-type and mutant proteins.
